Ultra Score Computer IP Settings
Connect the KS-MONSTER and Ultra Score Terminal PC into a switcher or router. The default IP address of the KS-MONSTER Host is “192.168.0.210”.
If you are using a router and your computer's IP address is in the 192.168.0.X segment, you can choose DHCP to automatically obtain an IP address.
If you are using a switch connection. Start entering the computer settings for the scoring software. Open the “Control Panel” > “Network and Internet” > “Network and Sharing Center” > “Local Area Connection”.
Click “Properties” to set IP address.
Double-click to open “Internet Protocol Version (TCP/IPv4)”.
Choose “Use the following IP address” and then input IP address. In order to distinguish it from KS-MONSTER Host, the fixed IP of the PC can be set to “192.168.0.200”, and the Subnet mask will be “255.255.255.0”.
In Device 1, select the “KS-MONSTER” device. Here, the default IP address of the Monster host is displayed as '192.168.0.210' (if the host IP is modified later, you need to enter the correct IP here).
When the connection is successful, the background of the status bar in the bottom-left corner of the software will turn green.
KS-GC18 connected with Monster
Connect the KS-GC18 into a switcher or router. Connect the mouse and keyboard to the “KS-GC18”. Then set a static IP address. Refer to the previous method used for setting a static IP on your computer for the configuration process.
Open the “KS-GC18”, click the wrench icon in the top-right corner.
Enter the modified “Main Host” IP address of the Monster. If a “Backup Host” has not been purchased, no configuration is required.“
When the connection is successful, a green icon will appear in the top-left corner of the screen.
If Ultra Score background of the status bar in the lower left corner of the software will turn red. This indicates that the network connection with the device is not normal.
If the connection is not successfully established, use the following methods to detect:
Network Check
1. 查看KS-MONSTER的IP地址(从正面液晶面板)
2. If you want to change the IP address of the “Monster” device. Connect a monitor to the VGA port on the Match Scoring Host, the LCD display will be shown as follow. Connect the mouse and keyboard to the “Monster”. Then click “Setup”.
Click “Network” button, set up “Ethernet Port 1” and “Ethernet Port 2” (connect to “Ethernet Port 1” by default).
After completing the settings, you can view the modified IP address in the notification area at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
3. Check the IP network segment of the router and modify it if necessary. Depending on the router manufacturers, you can search online for how to modify the router's IP network segment.
4. Check the IP address of the computer where Ultra Score is located. Press the “Win + R” keys simultaneously on the computer keyboard. In the pop-up dialog box, enter the “cmd” command, type “ipconfig”, and then press the Enter key on the keyboard. Check IP.
5. Press the “Win + R” keys simultaneously on the computer keyboard. In the pop-up dialog box, enter the “cmd” command, type “ping 192.168.0.210”, and then press the Enter key on the keyboard.
If the following situation occurs, it means that the scoring software has failed to communicate with Monster successfully.
