Scoring Console (KS-MONSTER KS-GC18) Connections
Connect Ultra Score with Monster
Connect the Monster and Ultra Score Terminal PC into a switcher or router. The default IP address of the Monster Host is “192.168.0.210”.
If you want to change the IP address of the “Monster” device. Connect a LCD display to the VGA port on the Match Scoring Host, the LCD display will be shown as follow. Connect the mouse and keyboard to the “Monster”. Then click “Setup”.
Click “Network” button, set up “Ethernet Port 1” and “Ethernet Port 2” with IP addresses from different gateway.
After completing the settings, you can view the modified IP address in the notification area at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Start entering the computer settings for the scoring software. Open the “Control Panel” > “Network and Internet” > “Network and Sharing Center” > “Local Area Connection”.
Click “Properties” to set IP address.
Double-click to open “Internet Protocol Version (TCP/IPv4)”.
Choose “Use the following IP address” and then input IP address. In order to distinguish it from Monster Host, the fixed IP of the PC can be set to “192.168.0.200”, and the Subnet mask will be automatically obtained as “255.255.255.0”.
Enter the previously modified IP address of the “Monster” in the “Device Settings” of the Ultra Score software.
When the connection is successful, the background of the status bar in the bottom-left corner of the software will turn black.
KS-GC18 connected with Monster
Connect the KS-GC18 into a switcher or router. Connect the mouse and keyboard to the “KS-GC18”. Then set a static IP address. Refer to the previous method used for setting a static IP on your computer for the configuration process.
Open the “touchpad”, click the wrench icon in the top-right corner.
Enter the modified “Main Host” IP address of the Monster. If a “Backup Host” has not been purchased, no configuration is required.“
When the connection is successful, a green icon will appear in the top-left corner of the screen.
