Ultra Score Master/Slave Setup

The Master/Slave Device Mode is used to run the Ultra Score software on two computers simultaneously, with internal data automatically synchronized between them. If one of the computers malfunctions, the slave device can be put into operation immediately after simple configurations, thereby minimizing the impact on the competition. In some competition events, due to the specific competition process requirements, it is also necessary to enable the Master/Slave Device Mode to grant multiple computers the ability to modify competition data.

Enabling Master/Slave Device Mode

The following operation process can be used to enable the Master/Slave Device Mode:

1. Install the Ultra Score software on both computers and connect them to the same local area network (LAN). The software will automatically run in “master Mode” after installation, so no additional configuration is required for the master.

2. For the software that is intended to be set as the slave device, click “Settings” in the menu bar and select “General Settings”.

3. Set the “Master/Slave Device Mode” to “slave Device” and enter the master IP address. After completing the modification, you need to restart the application for the changes to take effect.

Once the devices are successfully connected, the icon of the slave device will be displayed in the device status bar at the bottom left of the master.
