Start a Team Match
Equestrian team competitions in show jumping and dressage refer to events where each participating entity sends multiple rider-horse combinations to compete individually. In these competitions, the performance of each pair is scored, and ultimately, the team's total score is calculated by summing up all the scores of the pairs, which is then used to rank the teams:
1. Team
At present, all the players in the sub-event participate in the team competition, generally speaking, there are 3-4 participants, and the best 3 horses and horses are selected to calculate the team results, and only the results of the team competition need to be output after the race.
You can specify the event type as “Show Jumper Team Competition” or “Dressage Team Competition” directly during the import process, or you can set the competition type to a team competition in the event property edit.
Fill in the information of the athletes participating in the team competition in the imported template Excel. Then import it into the Grade Management server
2. Individual and Team Events (with Specified Participant Selection)
At present, the sub-event is a standard individual competition, and the individual score ranking needs to be output after the competition, but the results of some of the participating players (designated before the competition) also need to be included in the calculation as team results, and the team score ranking of these players needs to be output after the competition.
In this case, the list of players will be imported in the form of a standard individual competition. Then, manually create a comprehensive sub-item (i.e., a sub-item that does not actually compete, but automatically calculates the player's ranking according to the preset rules) and associate it with the standard sub-item.
Click Add. Then enter the item name and order (it is recommended to start after the ordinal number of the last group), and then click OK
Click Add General Stage and select “Obstacle Race Team (Named Participants)” or “Dressage Team (Named Participants)”. Then select the standard item you imported earlier in the Item 1 drop-down box.
After editing is complete.
Finally, the players who need to be involved in the calculation of team points will be marked as “teams”.
Click on Participant Management and click on the team name. Click Edit on the right
Select “Team” in the “Remark”.
3. Individual and Team Events (with System-Automated Participant Selection)
Similar to the situation in (2), the system does not specify the players who will participate in the team score calculation, but the system automatically selects the best 3 pairs of people and horses for each team.
Click Add. Then enter the item name and order (it is recommended to start after the ordinal number of the last group), and then click OK
Click Add Comprehensive Stage and select “Obstacle Group (Auto-select Participants)” or “Dressage Group (Auto-Selective)”. Then select the standard item you imported earlier in the Item 1 drop-down box.
After editing is complete.
Unlike (2), there is no need to mark the participants as “group” at this time.
4. Select Participants from Different Categories for the Team Competition
Competitors who participate in the calculation of team results come from different disciplines, such as different age groups, or different obstacle heights (obstacle courses) and test subjects (dressage).
At present, the system does not directly support this form of competition, and it is necessary to create a separate sub-event for all participants in the team competition, and the participants will be added to the sub-event in turn, and the sub-event will not be directly competed.
When a combination finishes the race in its original sub-event, its results are copied to the newly created sub-event above, so that the player's ranking can be calculated normally.
Click on the event monitoring page, find the athlete you want to copy the results, click Actions and select Copy Results.
Select the event results you want to copy and tick the athletes, then click OK.
The results are then copied to the new sub-item above.
