The purpose of the medal count estimation function: It is to enable the organizer to estimate the overall number of gold, silver and bronze medals required before the competition.

First of all, you should mark which event phase will generate the medal. It can be setup manually on each event phase.

To change it, go to the “Competition” page, click the “+” button to expend the event. and press the “Edit” button on the phase line to show the property dialog of the phase.

In the dialog box, select “YES” for whether medals are to be generated.

You may also change the medal type in batch. Check all events which you will like to modify, and press “Modify Classification Rule” button, you may see following dialog, change the “Medal Type” as “YES” in this dialog, and click “OK” button.

All phase which has the MedalType=“YES” property will have a golden mark on its icon, as shown below:

On the “Schedule” page, click on “Medal Number Estimation” button and then click OK.

The meaning of “1/6” in the picture: “1” represents the number of medals won by teams in this group, and “6” represents the number of medals prepared based on the largest number of team members in this group.

The medal count prediction function does not take into account tied rankings, so more medals actually need to be prepared.
